Update

Hey y'all!

I know I haven't written in a long time!
With me working full time again and Beebs being in actual school it takes A LOT away from the blogging like we used to do.
Now that I have our computer issue fixed and I know my set days off we can get back to it!
If you would like to suggest any kind of posts or styles then go right ahead!
I'm all ears :)

Braid and Twist UpDo

Sorry I havent been on for awhile y'all!
We've been moving so much it's ridic!
Thought I'd come by and post a recent style I did on Beebs
I did this Friday(21st) and thank goodness for her bonnet it still looks like I just did it! :)

I wet her hair first.
I used Reve' Hair and Body Moisturizer as a leave-in(It is our staple leave-in we love it! You can get it here: http://shop.reveessentials.com/Hair-Body-Moisturizer-HBM.htm )
I used Hair Perfection(first time using it and I can def. see this staying in our reg. You can get it here: http://shop.coilyheadchick.com/ )
I did the back in piggyback braids and flat twisted the front and ended with braids.
I dabbed some Eco Styler Gel on her edges to make them behave :)

I hope you like it! We LOVE it! :)

Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil Review

I have been on a hunt for the perfect oil to help seal in moisture and give her hair some awesome shine!
I think I have found it!

I seen a post about them needing reviewers for the coconut oil so I e-mailed them and soon enough a jar was sent my way!

Their website: http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/

You can find the oil that we were given here: http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/virgin_coconut_oil.htm

Here's a video on Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil :

OUR REVIEW:

(The same jar we received)

I used it to take down Beebs Mini-Mini braids and it was awesome! It immediately made her hair softer and aided in the take down of the braids. It took no time at all with this to take them all out!

Next I used it with a few other oils I had in the house as a Pre-Poo...It did it again! Made it very soft and helped with the shampoo(non-sulfate) to not strip all her oils off of her hair!

After conditioning and rinsing I then again used the coconut oil as a sealant for her hair and it was lovely!
Beebs told me "Momma this stuff is awesome! I want to use it every time we wash my hair!"

We have also used it on our lips as a lip balm and on our cuts to help heal them. It works!
Beebs' dad got hurt at work and a huge box fell on his ankle. I applied this oil to it and it closed up within the day and was gone within a week. He loves it wants his own now! :)

I have also found a whole bunch of recipes with which I can use the coconut oil with! I cannot wait to try them out and I will write another review to let you know how it goes!

KandyLandKurls Protective Style Challenge Week 9(FINAL WEEK)

Y'all this is it :'(
We had sooooo much fun being in this challenge!
Seeing everyone's beautiful children! And learning new styles as well :)
After this challenge I took it upon myself to tell me "I will learn how to cornrow properly by the end of the summer!)
I can cornrow her mini braids but her thick curly hair is another story!
See what I mean!^^^ :) Beebs said "Momma! I look like a pineapple! Cool!" :p
The products I used for that week were Giovanni's leave-in
I co-washed that Sunday with Organix's Hydrating Macadamia Oil Condish
After washing I moisturized and sealed with Reve Essentials products(http://reveessentials.com/)
She loved having them up because it was starting to get hot! Yes already! LOL....(This was March BTW)
